I started Halfwild because AI teams in the middle are poorly served. The big GPU clouds want hundreds of GPUs on multi-year contracts. The hourly clouds charge for flexibility a team running all day doesn't use, and the machine you stopped last night may not be there in the morning.

Dedicated servers on monthly or yearly terms have been the backbone of hosting for decades. Halfwild applies that to GPUs: a machine that is yours alone, a plain contract, and a person who answers.

I'm a software engineer, so the setup, monitoring and the odd driver problem are part of the service, not an extra. Halfwild is based in Tampa, and Florida teams that want their hardware nearby are exactly who I built it for.

What we hold ourselves to

Run a few machines well rather than many adequately.
Say only what a customer could hold us to.
Tell you when someone else would serve you better.
Answer the phone ourselves.
Keep the contract short enough to read in one sitting.
